Here are some photos taken today as we viewed a lot of interesting forms of arts in this museum. It is a huge museum with different wings showcasing American, Asian, Chinese, Japanese, African, and Egyptian artifacts dating back to b.c and a.d. years.
You wil also view some photos taken inside the Hard Rock Cafe where we had lunch. Here you will see the drum set of Ringo Starr, the motorcycle of Billy Joel, various costumes of Elton John, Madonna, Lenny Kravitz, James Brown, etc.and various guitars of famous performers.
Hard Rock's burgers are the best. We both said that they are better than Fuddruckers!
Hey Mom, where's the link to your Hard Rock pictures? ;o)
ReplyDeleteOh...no link...I meant just photos (a lot) but i was just too tired to post them all! I told Rick that we have our own Hard Rock Cafe in Makati...owned by the Nieveras. Is it still open for business?
ReplyDeleteHard Rock here is in the basement of the Hard Rock retail store. It is a huge huge restaurant and bar with a lot of wide TV's all around showing concerts of various artists. While eating, we enjoyed watching Elvis' conerts and videos..plus all around are the various costumes and musical instruments of famous artists...donated by the artists themselves! Next time, dadalhin namin kayo dito. But up to now, Saturday morning...my feet and legs still hurt.
The Nieveras are still like, "in hiding" so to speak. May mga kaso sila dito (marami!) dahil sa mga utang nila re Country Waffles.
ReplyDeleteI think Hard Rock is either lugi na at wala na dito, or just still around Makati area (not sure), pero not as frequented as before coz as you know, bars/restos easily "go out of style" here in Pinas...
They mushroom quickly, and die a natural death as soon as a new one emerges...
Starbucks, though, even if their coffee is more expensive than gasoline, is still doing well. I guess coffee never goes out of style... ;o)
We like the burgers, okay! So don't forget to bring us kahit nakapag Hard Rock na kami ni Anne dati when we were not yet married.
Lately, we and the kids like a burger joint here named, "HUNGRY HIPPO"! Masarap siya!
Thanks for the pictures. Seems as if you all always find some interesting things to visit. Rick really looked cool next to that trap set of Ringo's. Have a good day. Love ya, Regina
